Wired Differently
Wired Differently was written for every kid who has ever felt out of place.
Leo is a bright, curious kid whose brain works a little differently. Sometimes it is hard for him to fit in, but through robotics he discovers a world where creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving matter most. He learns that being unique is what makes him special.
Inspired by Connor Marek’s own experiences as a neurodivergent student, Wired Differently celebrates finding confidence and belonging through robotics. Connor now works to help schools, libraries, and community programs give more students access to STEM so every child can experience the joy of being accepted and finding their passion.
